Rear perspex window

Hi. I am Michael. I have a 1999 Z3 Roadster 2.8 in Ice Blue. 105,000 on the clock.
Car currently on a Spanish plate but now in the Augsburg area of southern Germany.
Would be interested in any advice regarding replacement of rear Perspex window. Is it complicated, where to source on and so on.

Not done it myself but can be a bit fiddly having read some of the write ups on here. Hope this helps?

Also, you have one of the producers of one of the best made replacement windows right in Germany. You can find them on EBay and they also have a demo video. First thing to check though is that the stitching of the zip half on the top itself as it may be rotted and coming loose which will need addressing before the window itself is installed. Price is about £71-72 but you may be able to negotiate a lower price. HTH. JIM

Have checked out the video and a supplier in Munster. Looks fiddly but very doable. many thanks for the help.

Hi Michael, wecome. I have recently purchased a window on Ebay from ADM and fitted it yesterday. It took around 2.5hrs to do, most of which was cleaning the residue left behind from the sealing tape on the old. Make sure you line the ends of zips up correctly and take your time when closing it. I managed it on my own, but it would be quicker with two people. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, hope this helps.
