Checking out my 2001 3 litre before putting it away for the winter , 15 cm snow forecast for tonight . I had always assumed the red markers on the rear sides were reflectors , they don't light up at present . Are they supposed to be lights ? If so how do you replace the bulbs ?
The lights seem to be firmly stuck to the body , unlike the front markers which can be Mcguivered off the front bumper .
There is no obvious access from the boot , . Do I have to remove the rear wheels and wheel well liner just to replace a !@#^%$$ twinky bulb ??

Unfortunately uk members will probably not be able to help as we do not have these fitted to our rear bumpers.

You could look on realoem and it will show you the parts fitted then you will be able to see if they have bulb holders fitted or are just reflective.

They are just reflectors.

The USA Z3 owners often lament that their Z3's have these fitted. Easily broken and are made of unobtainium. Many State inspections get grumpy when they are broken.
