I think I read somewhere that an e46 rear wheel sensor is cheaper and fits the Z3, is this the case guys, might have been @pgunter

Not heard that one before. realoem certainly confirms the part number is not the same. But the question was whether it fits/works which is a different matter. Will be interested to know if this is the case.

If it means getting a trusted BMW sensor at a viable price great news. ABS 3rd party sensors are notoriously cr*p.

@Sean d after having problems with a cheaper rear sensor ( asc ) i purchased a meyle sensor on ebay for £29 no problem with it all working fine.
