Couldn't find another on this subject..... so I thought this might help someone out.
My front undertray came loose recently and has damaged the wheel arch liner and central trim.
I happen to have a 'spare' Z3 lying around so stole the NSF liner for my coupe (RealOEM says it is the same part).
So here goes, pretty easy really, only need a jack, long bar, 17mm socket (maybe your locking wheel nut key if you have one) 8mm socket and 10mm socket.
Step 1.
Find the car and correct wheel.
Step 2.
Remove wheel.
Step 3.
Remove all 8mm bolts, there are about 7 or 8 of them
Including the 3 under the front bumper
Step 4.
Find the jacking point and look near there for 2 groves with 10mm nuts over protruding threads and remove the 2 nuts.
Step 5.
Yank - technical I know but the front end should be loose, the rear (by the jacking point) is stiff and it all needs to be pulled away and out of the overhang of the front wing, sill and front bumper.
Step 6.
Stare at the front hub, fog light posteriors, horn etc etc. And do whatever it is you took the liner out for.
I hope this helps someone.
Cheers
