Hi folks
Sadly the Replica 250 California is for Sale. Unfortunately, I have moved home and in the process lost the great workshop facilities I have (the car is there still but I cannot work on it anymore). Now living in central Tunbridge Wells and barely have parking let alone a workshop!
Have a look through the build thread here: https://zroadster.org/threads/z3-based-ferrari-250-california-build.47125/
Anyone interested please let me know as the car is listed on eBay and I have to move it soon to a lock-up garage.
I have almost all the parts to finish the car and a considerable amount has already been done as can be seen on the build thread.
These kits are no longer available so this is a unique opportunity to purchase what is a rare car now.
Body is fully assembled onto the car base car and all shut lines have been carefully adjusted, the body now needs filled, primed and painted. Original Red BMW canvas electric hood in good condition. (plan was for a silver car with red roof and red/black interior).
Interior has replica 250 dashboard fitted with Grassbank Replica instruments (these are £1300 alone). Seats are fully renovated MGB seats mounted onto the BMW electric seat runner system. I have custom made Martrim Matador red leather seat covers ready but not fitted. Seats are in the car and electrics working. Centre console is purpose built in 60's style with Martrim Matador red leather trim. Rear interior bulkhead panel is trimmed in black leather. All original BMW black carpets in excellent condition.
Engine has re-mapped ECU, 3.0 M54 inlet manifold and high-flow air intake filter, battery is new Varta.
Car is sitting on original Type 42 BMW wheels and I have a set of Chrome wires ready to go on (they need adaptors).
I have the majority of parts available to finish the car (headlights, front indicators, rear light clusters(MGB), chrome wing mirrors (Italian Astrali style), retro radio and JBL speakers, aluminium trim plates for seat belt slots in rear bulkhead, aluminium handbrake lever and indicator stalk ends, vintage steering wheel etc. etc. Too much to list.
