Hi,
Now my mate has just replaced his and found that there are a number of units specified for the vehicle (Z3M)
!
At the last count, prior to getting one to fit he had tried at least 3 others!
He is on this forum under the guise of "J90MUD" and it might be worth contacting him for more information.
I can supply direct contact details if you want.
He is on holiday in Scotland at the moment and is planning to call in to see me tomorrow.

Andy Thomlinson,
Glasgow.

Had a look on realoem.com, it states the part has been discontinued, you will be able to get yours refurbished though Wayne, it will look like new once done.

im here at last.

the specific rad for the z3m has been discontinued except at £560 from bmw

after market ones from behr are circa 180

contrary to popular stories it will not come out from below the car even with the under trays off.

you will need longer screws of the same size/type to fix it onto the water radiator as the new condensers are thicker.

a few pictures to follow

HI
I have a 2001 3.0i and had the A/C emptied and refilled last week. The technician found a leak at the hose connection into the condenser ,
he fixed this by wire brushing a manky looking connection and replacing the O ring .
The A/C now works well , but the condenser fan , the big brute at the front of the cooling system which you see as you open the bonnet , doe not run.
I've checked all the fuses relays , etc . i would like to check I have power at the fan before dismantling the front end to pull the fan , but am not sure where the power connection is .
Legend has the power plug on the fan is hidden under the fan , but I have a hefty looking 3 wire connection on the Right side of the condenser which disappears under the plastic around the front end .. Unfortunately this needs a concert pianist with 15 inch multi jointed steel fingers to disconnect the two pieces , I'd like to be certain this really is the power feed to the fan before I risk serious harm to the wiring .
Any ideas please ?
