s54 swap?

I own a 2001 bmw z3 2.5i, and plan on keeping it until it is either totaled or I'm totaled.(not selling and getting an m any time soon)
Should I swap for an s54? Should I just turbo my little 2.5? Need opinions, thank you.

Even with the S54 there would still be a fair amount of work, assuming you can find an engine at a reasonable price. All depends on your skills really, but I'd imagine the turbo may be an easier proposition.
