Scottish Air Show

Its the Scottish Air Show this weekend in Ayr i was just wondering if any members were planning on going to it .
Been a good event last 2 yrs Red Arrows attending on Sunday again this year ( They were really good last year looks like better weather again this year)
We wilm no doubt end up there for some of both days i think .

Although I live only a couple of miles from Prestwick Airport, I shall be at the Bo'ness Hill Climb which always falls on the same weekend and has been getting bigger with every year. It's a very enjoyable event with loads of classic cars of all types to ogle at, plus up to a hundred older cars competing up the tricky, short hill, plus there is a steam railway trundling past from time to time. There's completely free access to all areas, including the paddock, so you can go and chat to the race car drivers. The competing cars tend to be anything from a Prince Henry Vauxhall through fast Escorts, MGs, some single seaters, and even completely unsuitable cars like a Rover P6. Good fun.

I won't be taking the Zed - this is one for my MGB V8.

Am working at it , Belgian F16 should be good their arrival was excellent, the Queen's flying club Typhoons' arrival even better.. Lauren Richardson Pitts another excellent display and Trig Pitts pairing also very good Mustangs and Mig combo another to watch.

I let 2 lorries across the junction at the level crossing at Halfords in Ayr this morning with a traction engine on it and a ford anglia police car should be good .
Been excellent last 2 years can't wait to see red arrows again really enjoyed them last yr

Think the Belgian F16 and Typhoon should be good,plus various Pitts , Mig and P51s could be really interesting too. Reds do flypast Saturday enroute Portrush NI, their main slot Sunday
