Finally got round to tackling the first (drivers side) seat belt guide.
Took about 3hrs & reused the original insert as it is sewn in!

Are they bolted on then? Was yours broken or snapped as can't see any repair to the guide itself

I was looking at this thread as I have 'new' seat covers to fit, had them sometime and not got around to it yet.
I was confused by the spanner as I was under the impression that the guides were held in by star washers, which I see they are now.
Good job well done. Nice original finish.
