I'm afraid I didn't take any "before" pics but here is my "nearly finished" drivers seat bolster repair.

You may or may not recall that I reported that I got into my car whilst wearing my overalls and the zip on my back pocket ripped a hole in my seat bolster. The rip was a curly tear about 100mm round, but after following the instructions you really struggle to see it now.

I bought a kit off Ebay and I'm quite happy with the result.

No, not happy, I'm bloody chuffed =))

I say it's "nearly finished" as I've still got to apply the finishing coat. The colour match isn't perfect, actually it's a bit light but I'm sure if I clean the rest of the seat with a decent leather restorer it will come up ok.

The colour difference isn't so noticeable in real light

I know this is an old thread but I have to do some minor repair to my seats and I have the same colour and pattern as you. Do you have the ebay number for the product you used?

I'll have a look and see if I can find it and will post it here.

100mm is a big rip,,, 4"?
Yes, it surprised me too, the tear was a curly, spiral. Must have happened because once I sat in the seat I must have rolled my fat arse a bit too much. It was an easy fix though. There was plenty of backing fabric in the repair kit, and the leather adhesive was very good.
I watched a couple of YouTube videos and got stuck in.

I'll have to give this a try as our leather couch has some tears from when a cat we had to keep the mouse situation under control decided to do a few laps around the room using the leather as a spring board while being chased by our Irish Setter!! Not quite the same as fixing a Zed but leather's leather!! JIM
