as the weather is holding off, im going to replace the seat bushings in passenger seat, Aceman has supplied the videos to watch, but im asking is it a pain in the ass job, or is it straightforward because i dont want to have the car laid up while im arsing about trying to work out what goes where.

ps....im more of a lump hammer type guy than a precision tool

Ive done a few sets watch the video couple of times .
Take your time doing it ( don't turn ignition on with seat out or air bag light will come on) and you'll get on fine.

As said seats heavy ( lower runner long and angular will take out chunks if you hit off something ) be careful less room as you have a hardtop on much easier with no roof.

I know the bushes are cheep, but you can easily make the bushes, I cut them out of an old chopping board, use sandpaper to make them the correct size

for the sake of 10 quid, id rather buy them than spend 2 hours cutting drilling and filing, and then have to spend 10 quid on a new chopping board, and worst of all, the hours wasted listening to my mrs moan about how i chopped up her kitchen utensil
