Archived Seat Bush Workshop Day - Winchester (Hants) - 27th of September

This probably has a small audience due to location, but Paul Gunter and I are trying to organise a basic workshop day on his drive. Primarily to fix his wobbly seat bushes, and if time do mine as well.

If anyone else is interested in coming along to observe, get their hands dirty or maybe sort their own out then you are very welcome.

Paul is going to supply teas & coffee and his covered car port so rain won't be an issue! We might even get chance to pop out for a drive once we have got things sorted

Sounds interesting mine are not rattling yet but I have to change both my seat belt guides as they are totally shot. So I was thinking of changing the seat bushes at the same time as the seats would have to be removed anyway. Could be a good experience to watch I will keep a look out for more info. Winchester is pretty local to the Salisbury area.

Sounds like I've been caught out!! It was more of a watch and learn exercise. Pending on the proposed date the road tax expires end of September so the old girl will be put to bed for the winter. Still happy to attend as I think the experience will be invaluable, leaning on the shovel I can do and my tea making skills are not bad either!

28th September is Santa Pod, so the 27th is possible as are the 4/5th of October for me.

28th September is Santa Pod, so the 27th is possible as are the 4/5th of October for me.

@Nutty_Hazel and I would be interested but I am committed to Santa Pod and on the Sunday 5th October which sort of messes up things a bit. Is there any more on dates at the moment? It could be good for us to do on the way up to Santa Pod on the Saturday

@pgunter - Let's put the date as the 27th of September then, as that makes a nice weekend for me with Santa Pod the next day

I'll start a list of interested people in the first thread, and we can then count up for bacon butties and tea bags the week before!
