Seatbelt/ Airbag light

After taking my Z into the garage to have a new battery fitted I now have the seatbelt/ airbag light on my dash
I was hoping it would go off after I stopped/ started the Z
But it was still on when I done that .......
So I'll have to phone the garage again today
I thought maybe it was because the battery was taken off

Will really need the garage to reset the light. Damp can affect the sensor under the seat or even a spilled drink. Anyway at this stage don't agree to any repair without further advice.
