I did have a problem.. Believe it or not I purchased an ultrasonic cat scarer. It's a motion / heat activated little box the emits a very high warble tone.. The cats hate it.. No more cat on roof under the car port. Result.

Everybody who has a Zed and a cat!
For the cat is warm (comparing with the metal roof of all the other cars) and easy to climb, due to textile...!
If you want to keep the car and the cat, find a piece of military tent canvas, thick and hard and don't forget to cover the soft every evening...
