Hi all,

Rather unusually we had an issue at the data centre where the Zorg server is housed. Can't remember the last time the server went offline without it being planned maintenance, but it was several years back!

Anyway, the data centre have got their end sorted, and the server came back online nice and quick!

Apologies for the downtime :)

Ah that explains why I couldn't get my phone to connect the site earlier.
Glad it's all sorted Gaz .

No problem - tried a few times to log on - then realised there must be an issue. :)

I must have timed my two minutes downtime at work to exactly coincide with the outage :(

Sounds like much more than just the ZOrg server - A breaker or a rogue router and some very panicky technicians on the bridge I'm guessing.

A problem with one of the main hypervisors that our servers sit on.

I've just Googled hypervisors and read what it is and I still don't understand it's just as well you do Gary.

I should have thought of that. Amazing technology. It's difficult to comprehend how this stuff works.

Easier than I thought then. The problem today was the 0s and 1s looking after the 0s and 1s!
