Hi guys, I feel like a bit of a fraud as I do not own any of the cars that this forum is all about

I joined this forum after google searching for Ferrari 250 GTO swb tribute cars. It lead me to a link on here and I’ve been reading and re reading a thread by P007 over the last few days. Good detailed Info about these cars is not easy to come by (unless you know where to look) or if you were just lucky like I have been Finding this.

I’m not a total fraud though as I am going to make my next big project one of these swb tribute cars and for that I will need a z donor car.

I am a big car fan and have enough experience building and restoring cars to at least believe I can complete a project like the swb.

I currently own a 1962 Sunbeam Alpine which I have just finished restoring and I have built 4 kids electric cars 3 of which I designed myself including the Batmobile in my avatar (Know Expert on YouTube)

so now I’m off to congratulate P007 and see if he still has that list…….. IMG_1060_Original.jpegIMG_1353_Original.jpegIMG_2023_Original.jpeg

Sunbeam Alpine, the very first Roadster I ever rode in. To the Lincolnshire Show many years ago. It was white with, (I think) red leather interior owned by a guy called Ron (Ronnie) Watson.

Hi Tony, yeah I do like my Sunbeam Alpine not only because it’s just a big smile to drive but also the amount I learned restoring it.

I had 3 Rapiers in the 70’s and could never find an Alpine in decent nick, my all time favourite one that passed me by.

I think I was quite fortunate in that the motor had A lot of work done just before I bought it and apart from some welding which I did myself the rest was just aesthetics. I m very happy with it.
