Oh dear...

I feel like a teenager again...

Driven enthusiastically through the dales yesterday in the sunshine I could feel a little tail happinness. Today in the wet... Lord have mercy! The car corners so flat that a wiff of right foot in 2nd is enough to provoke a modest (as in, inside the white lines) over-steer.

Is this car going to be too much fun for me? Roof up in the rain its a hoot! Roof down in the sun its a hoot! I was driving a 280SL at the same time My Z3 was meeting its first owner and I don't remember it being this much fun!

So this is just me saying, I love the handling! I'm guessing that is a common trait among the forum brethren...

(Not me, not guilty)

Sounds like you have caught a big dose of D.T.S.!

Dry Teeth Syndrome = what happens when you drive a Z3 with the roof down and the stupid grin you can't get off your face...

There is no known cure.

Hi Aceman,
I'm only up the road in Leeds. If there is a local meet or drive out planned, would you let me know?

Promise not to be too giddy. (I am 40, not 14. Most days I can remember that);)

Lord have mercy!!

Got her @rse about face yesterday coming off a roundabout! makes me realize how much I have grown used to traction control (not to mention permanent 4wd!) 21 years ago I had a 318i (E30) that was a handful in the wet. I'd forgotten just how much respect is due...
