Lol. I will. Do you know if the e36 version can be cajoled to fit a Z? Sadly I think there must be lots of these things hiding on back shelves in shops and in people's garages.

Thanks I saw that. That is a lot of money. Probably 10% of the value of the car. Seems unreasonable which is why they don't seem to sell at that price.

The Z3 Gruppe M intake is different to any other e36 era Gruppe M intake I've seen. The shape is different.

I've asked this question before in my own searching but tbh the carbon intake has gone to the bottom of my list. Looks cool but that's it.

Simota no longer make bmw z3 intake either.

All can probably be made to fit with some swapping of parts.

After some bling and some sound without losing hp. Currently on stock box after running a pod with heat shield for a while then looking at the intake temps in torque app...

This weekend poking around in there I found the headlight duct has a removable kind of circle thing at the bottom exposed to under the bumper so might just run an air feed from there for more flow and stay stock.

Still would like that intake roar though..

Totally with you on the under bonnet eye candy and the whooshie sounds.

If I could make a suggestion, Polish Facebook market place is a goldmine. If owas you, its an idea to search on there. Looking for e46, e36 breakers might cough up a carbon intake. Prepare to spend time looking every few days.
