So as you know I recently bought a Simota from @Jimmy Weston, who me and Sara met yesterday and what a very nice chap he is :).
Jimmy's Fiji green zed is an absolute minter as well, has to be the cleanest Z3 I've ever seen, a credit to you mate  .

So after meeting Jimmy yesterday, we got home and I thought I'd fit the simota, only to find an obstacle in the way .

This black plastic canister thing is in the way of allowing the new filter to sit low enough,it has some rubber tubes that connect on to it and I don't know what it does.

So the question is does it have to be relocated, or do I need some 80mm rubber tube to give me more flexibility to fit the new filter ?.
It fitted Jimmy's car just fine but his a dual vanos, mine is a single vanos.

Thanks in advance.

Steve.

Any chance of a better pic from a different angle?
Yes I must admit that wasn't the best pic .

Hopefully this maybe clearer........
I think it needs a preformed 45 degree bend ?.

The canister you have mounted is i believe a charcoal canister the pipes being vacuum.
Mine sits lower and on it's side.

Thanks again Ant, you're probably right re carbon filter, wonder why they're different though.
Think I'll try and measure the angle something near to what it needs to be before I order a new hose.

I'd do fancy doing a cruise some time like @t-tony cruise ln September I think we spoke about mate, il commit nearer to the time iff I can gate crash the list mate, but fingers crossed for your Simota fitting, and yes custom chrome Nuneaton are amazing for exhausts designed to what you need, rather than an off the shelf one fits all option, and not to dear mate.
Thanks
Jimmy.
