I like it, not far from me and on roads I love driving on.

Once you get over The Snake there's lots of great places to stop off for lunch. I'd love to meet up with you guys around the reservoirs or in say Bamford, Castleton, Strines or Hathersage or anywhere else you prefer. I'm happy to make recommendations if needed.

Are you booked in at the inn? I only ask because they do not like anyone using the car park unless they are using the inn. It is because lots of walkers over the years have tried parking up there as it is great access to Kinder. I think they chain it off too. If you want I could pay them a visit and see if it would be ok if you haven't already done so.
