...the link to install the Aux In lead to my Z4 with updated radio/DSP and Sat Nav. I think I need the Mini or E46 part and then...it's either plug and play, or I have to move pins about?!

I know it's been covered...but the search function just says I'm generating errors by having words tooling, short or common (probably finger trouble) and there are so many threads to go through, I'm struggling to find the right one!!

Help....please....the missus is sick of the Radio and my RHCP and RATM CD's!

There are several videos on YouTube covering this mate. I will post a link to one for you later. That's where I found the info when I fitted mine.

Tony.

I just KNEW you'd hit me up first! Top , TOP man!

I couldn't find a useful guide re the pins. Did you buy the Cooper S part number or the E46 one? 82 11 0 153 367 (Mini) 82 11 0 149 389 (BMW)?

I bought a generic one from eBay. Cost approx. £12 IIRC.

Ah okay.....works okay? I dont want to lose CD connectivity....I'm guessing it installs in another socket and is a 3.5mm jack? Which I also guess means, I have to use a lightning to 3.5mm converter....so will lose some sound quality/volume from the amp?
