Hi all
Just fitted some 10mm spacers on the front z3, 1.9. And its introduced some steering wobble, not terrible but noticeable.
Already have 20s on the rear, and 30 mm lowered. On 17s style 68s.
Must say they where very tight and I found I had to retighten the bolts a few times.
I think I might just at sack them off, look good but might be too much of a compromise and I didn't like the fact that I needed to retighten.
Thoughts?
Thanks all

Did you thoroughly clean the wheel flanges before fitting the spacers? Make sure that the screw which holds the disc to the hub is totally below the surface of the flange. If you can see any marks on the back of the spacer it may not be. You shouldn't have to retighten the wheel bolts, I never have on 3 cars. It won't be the spacer causing the issue, but, it could be magnifying an existing problem.

Tony.

Have you used 10mm longer wheel bolts, if not remove the spacers  if the spacer fitment is tight on the flange they can jam and not seat correctly, clean the hub flanges with emery paper or a file, the spacers should just slip onto the flange easily.

Thanks nodzed. Yea did use the correct bolts. I think that's it. I'll whip them off and clean everything. I think they just didn't seat properly
