All hotel room and meal requests have been booked with the hotel as per pm thread.

Route details.
Update 08.01

UPDATE 26TH FEBRUARY
ROUTE DETAILS.
PLEASE NOTE.
Make sure you have sufficient fuel to complete Day1 at the start of the day.

Day 1.

Screenshot_20230108_162058_Maps.jpg

So set off hotel just before 9.30
First stint is a run to Moffat around 40 mins.. this is just a 10 min convenience break for thos who need then we are off towards Selkirk for our first coffee break ( around 1 hr)

We are booked here for 11.30. For approx 1hr stop.

Looking to be leaving around 12.30.

Then around a 1 hr drive to the lunch stop through peebles

This is where arranging lunch this is the pie stop from pm thread .
I will be taking a proper order for this very soon
Looking to arrive around 1.40 Again for around a 1 hour stop.
From there a scenic run back to Moffat
Same as morning this is just a 15 min convenience break.
Then back to the hotel via Elvanfoot the Dalveen pass and Thornhill ( those who did last years spring run this is reverse route of one section) .

Day 2 .
Screenshot_20230108_163345_Maps.jpg

So Day 2 once again set off just before 9.30 heading south this time skirting Dumfries then following the coastal route to our first stop just outside Dalbeattie around 1hr 15 mins

Booked here at 10.45.
The car park isnt big enough but there is a national trust carpark adjoined ( with toilets) there is a £1.50 charge for NTS carpark but machine not working on recce day (cafe owner say quite often doesn't )
Aiming for 45-50 min stop.
Leaving around 11.30 we follow the coastal route to a75 then into Newton Stuart around 1 hr this is a 10 minute convenience break.
From there its a 45 min around the coastal route to our lunch stop at 1.30 in Port William.

Lunch stop will be around 1 hr leaving around 2.30
Following the coast road towards Glenluce we then turn right back onto the A75 following it back to Newton Stuart around 1 hr getting back to Newton Stuart around 3.30 this again 15-20 min convenience break
leaving just before 4pm following the Queens highway past Clatteringshaws loch and on back to the hotel around 1 hr.

UPDATE 8th March .
Was looking into fuel a bit now we are around 6 miles outside Dumfries there is a petrol station on the main road from the hotel into Dumfries but it only sells diesel and unleaded.
Carry on down another mile or so straight through the 2 roundabout thers is a Tesco which has 99 momentum.
There are other petrol stations around Dumfries but you will need to venture further to get to them.

UPDATE 12th March

Hi guys here is the link to my route to allow you to download them to your sat nav.
( i would say i did these routes the other night and have not used them on the road but i did do a run through preview on my tom tom and they appear to be pretty much right .)

Hi Chris no problem to put you on reserve list.
Unfortunately you need to be out of bed sharp to get on one of my Scottish runs
numbers tend to be limited at around 10 for logistics and spaces tend to get snapped up as quickly as i can put the post up.
Stephen.
