Squeaky Belt

My car has generated an annoying squeak from the belts. Is this just a sign that they need replacing? They aren't expensive but just wanted to check it's not a sign of something else on the way out.

yea its the pulleys most probably

Take the belt(s) off and spin everything, tensioners and the like do fail on these, just a problem of age.
