Looks good

Had mine done a Royals over the winter and fitted it a couple of months ago. Absolutely love the chunkyness of the wheel, so much better to hold and the finish is really good.

How do you find the bottom of the wheel with it been pushed up? It’s just I was thinking of having this done when I get around to doing mine.

At the moment I can’t say, but I’ve just done a short run around the block and to be honest I took no notice of it steering wise. It dose how ever feel nicer to hold now it’s a little bit chunkier also you have a little more room at bottom when you are just sat in the car.

Where did you come up with the name Fender if I had to guess I’d say you possibly play one.

just got my wheel back from Royal steering wheels, I’m well pleased with it now all I’ve to do is fit it to car.

I think a better idea would be to fit it to mine. =))
Like the colour, but my wheel is circular, where can you get one with the flattened bottom part?

Royal steering wheels do it all just send your own wheel and they will alter it to what you want.
Did you get any of those fuel tank straps done.

Not a problem it took a fortnight, if you want they will make one and you pay a surcharge on it when paying and send your one back when you change it and they will refund your surcharge. Speak to the on phone a guy called Jack.

I’m still interested in some when you’ve got them mine are beginning to look a bit worse for wear.

Another couple of satisfied customers for Jack at Royal Wheels. I think it was one of the best mods you can get done, totally transforms the driving experience compared to the OEM skinny rimmed steering wheel.
Just looked up on my service history spreadsheet and didn't realise it was nearly 7 years ago that I got mine done!! How time flies by. Back then there wasn't an option of modifying the rim to make it flat at the bottom, as I might of considered it being done.

How much does he charge now is it still around £150? As he did my wheel for my E39 a while ago!

yes that is correct for a round one but it’s extra to have one altered for flat bottom. That’s why mine was £235 plus the two tone leather.

Mine cost £114.99 + £100 refundable deposit in 2012. So £160 is not a huge increase over that time.
