As many of you know, aside from having the Zs, I also have a 325ci. I just registered this and insured it but I'm going to take it to the nearby BMW dealership to have them go over it. They will identify and problems with it. I do this because it has a few issues and instead of trying to figure them out, I'll have them tell me EXACTLY what the problems are and I can either elect to fix them myself or have them do it. One of the things that is interesting about it is that when steering the car, while turning the wheel, it generates a noise as if something were rubbing. I didn't think it had to do with the rack as it steers well. I got the feeling that the steering column needed lubrication. Just a few days ago, someone told me that some BMW's have a sticky steering problem that causes this condition. Has anyone out there ever heard of this or know anything about it? Frankie
P.S. Just ran across this on steering problems for Z4's (not related to my problem I think)
