I used motorway grade magnetic sheet and I think it was 8d carbon filmThanks Guys. That's the finish I want Sean d
Mine is the same post some paint, any idea why this one affects new paint? If you have had a respray on that area of the car it will effect the paint having them on. If it is original paint you should be fine
ProbablyNew tangled paint as opposed to 20 year old paint technology's?
Tony.
I'm only guessing Andy, but I bet Sean will put us right. Possibly water based paint versus solvent based paint?Probably
That was my thought Tony. What say you @Sean dI'm only guessing Andy, but I bet Sean will put us right. Possibly water based paint versus solvent based paint?

Apart from the bonnet I wasn't aware that my car had been re-sprayed anywhere else, but as this has only affected my N/S wing and not the O/S this may well be the case I guess? If you have had a respray on that area of the car it will effect the paint having them on. If it is original paint you should be fine
No mate the cars are sprayed by robotsCould it be down to the painting process in factories? Dont they dip the panels in something to attract the paint, i assume on a reapray this wouldnt be done.
electric charging is not to make the paint stick, it is to avoid loss in over spray as the atomised paint is negative charged and the item being spayed is positive,Yeah but arent they electrically charged first so the paint sticks?
