Style 71 Split Rims

Sometime local to me is selling a set of 17" Style 71 split rims at a bargain price but they need a refurb. Are they worth rescuing - I don't need them but I don't want to see them scrapped (they've been on Vivaro van!)?

Style 71 as fitted to the 3 series club sport, personally love them. Looked for a set for ages a few years back, and a pretty rare. Worth saving if cheap enough, but won't be cheap to refurb properly.

Yes, I han have heard that they are expensive to refurb depending on how far you want to go.

really like these and have nearly bought them myself on a couple of occasions.. Went with the 42s in the end but these look superb Imo and have a slight lip which is great...has the new bit come back from the body shop yet mate?

No mate, my Zed is due to have a final polish and ceramic coating done on 18 Dec and it's being fitted then. Will send you a pic.
