Hi there, I wondered if anyone knew of a specialist in the suspension set up my 2.8 Zed?

I don't want to go down the polybush route unless I really have to. I've read that a cheap but beneficial upgrade to this car is to replace the anti roll bars and fit a strut brace.

I've heard both positive and negative things about poly bushes, but on looking at mine, the current bushes look ok with no signs of deterioration. However due to a shoulder injury I can't do anymore than look at them, (the pitfalls of having a low and narrow garage!!)

I just need to sort out the terrible tram lining. I've had a wheel alignment done and it was out by quite a bit.

The centre did what they could but I didn't ask for any further advice. I should have done as they were very helpful.

I'm based on the Wirral so from North Wales/Manchester/South Lancs areas would be great.

Thank you.

Shame you are so far north from the Zed Shed as I'd be happy to give It a look over. I'm not sure that a brace would held with the symptoms you have though.

Have we discussed what tyres you are running before? Sizes, brand, age, condition etc?

I have a 2.8 that is tramlining like a pig. Speaking with @brilie on the cruise this weekend he was running the same tyres as I am and haa just changed them and says the transformation is unbelievable. I also have a strut and chassis brace fitted but they were on when I purchased the car 3+ years ago.

I've got 225/50ZR16 front and back. Potenza's at the front and HU901 at the rear. I'm going to see a friend of mine in Wembley over the weekend pretty sure I could pass up by you on the way back via the M4.

1999 model, it wouldn't be out of my realm of having a go but I injured my shoulder when I tried removing the diff mounting bush which is what led me to believe that it wasn't causing the problem. The assumption being that if was deteriorating, it would have just come out in bits.

That's not the case I can run any old tyre on mine and I don't get the tramline problem. I did before I changed the very solid original bushes.4 new tyres £400 bushes £40
