Hi peeps,

I'm getting ready to undertake a swap of the stock rubber brake lines on my '00 MZ3 for stainless steel versions.

If anyone has done this already and discovered anything out of the ordinary along the way, I'd love to her about it.

Thanks.

Only use a brake line spanners on the fittings. Normal spanners have a tenancy to round the hex of the fitting.

When you get to the rear lines that go from the car to the sub-frame. Stop and look at how much of the nut hex is exposed for the spanner to grip. Then look at your spanner, there will be a curved lead-in on the spanner. I had to grid the lead-in off the spanner so that it got a good grip on the brake line nut.
