Test driving the new z4

I'm supposed to be testing the new Z4 tomorrow. Saw it in the show room today, I really like the look of them (and the colour too!)

I'll let you know what I think tomorrow

Yep, comes with an engine, paint and wheels - probably a cup of coffee too

That blue on the M40i is nice. Sat in one on Tuesday. Feels as comfortable as it looks.

Many are slating the front. I don’t think it’s the design as such. It’s definitely a departure from the BMW family feel. The bonnet seems much higher and shorter than any before giving it more a saloon feel. Makes the whole car look bigger but I understand it’s shorter than the E89.
Got the feeling the seats are a little further forwards too but the boot, while bigger than the E89, isn’t as deep as you might expect.

Its the 30i. 250 odd bhp, 5.4 secs 0 to 60. Only a four pot though

Reasonable pace for 4 pot and such a big car, by comparison.
