Very true Mike, but if it wasn't for the Z3 there would not have followed the Z4 line so it's good job they made them

Well, actually chaps, I'm thinking of getting one...... as long as they do it in the 'Matchbox' range or a 'Dinky toy' model.
I can dream as well as the next man!

I'm thinking of getting one in original size, may be in three or four years. Then my Z4 is about 15 years old, time to get a new one. :)
May be the version with 320 bhp, in the moment I got 265 bhp

And remember, we have no speed limit in Germany. :D:D

i think i saw one of the new ones today. Driving along the M3 near winchester, had european plates. Was covered in all the squirly wrap so you cant make out the lines etc... not sure its going to be as fancy as the pictures have made out to be though....

This is unfortunately true. But I know a lot of sections without limit. ;) :)
I can testify to that, Route 2 1986 on my way from Gütersloh to Zeebrugge in my MK3 Ford Escort 1.3, I made an error of judgement and went into the outside lane at 80mph (Yes it did 80mph), I saw a flash of headlights STORMING towards Me! Got out of the way just in time as this guy in his big old Merc Autobhan stormer was at DEFCON1. Learning from experience, the deresticted bits of the Autobahns are for big boys cars only! :nailbiting:

The 335 bhp in my Z4 is more than adequate, sub 5sec 0-62mph, I had a nissan 300 zx with 518 bhp but it was un-drivable except on bone dry roads and it would do only 2000 miles on a set of rear tyres
