Hi all,

I'm not taking orders at the moment!

This is to give you an idea of what we will be producing mug wise this year! Below is 6 examples of what we plan to produce. It allows for 2 custom images of your choice, and you can choose whatever you want within reason. I've grabbed some random images from the forum & media gallery for these.

I have added a poll above to get a rough idea of numbers, just in case I can squeeze the manufacturer harder for a bulk order :) There is no commitment to order yet!

Pricing will be announced when I am ready to take orders. Provisional pricing TBC but I expect to be £7 per mug plus P&P (UK & International). There will be a multiple mug discount as well for his'n'hers ;) This includes my time to create the print ready artwork (20 minutes per mug).

There are no minimum orders required to make this happen, as I have a fixed price from the manufacturer. Payments will be taken in advance, and you should be able to order right up to mid December 2013.
  • Created from 2 photos supplied by you (images are cropped, resized and created in to print ready artwork). These are then wrapped in the photo negative frames.
  • Artwork will wrap all around the diameter of the mug.
  • Base mug is white, 11oz and are dishwasher proof
  • All mugs will be posted in a smash proof mailer
I'm hoping to have some samples by the end of next week and will post some pictures then!

Sneaky peak (excuse poor quality phone images) ;)

Had a really interesting meeting with the supplier wen't for an hour, left after 3. A bike and car fanatic, so we had way too much to talk about! Came home with some samples, using some randomly pinched images from the media gallery (hope you don't mind @Macca, @zedwheels & @Rev :snaphappy:).

Great quality stuff he produces. Still working on the final design. Announcement and ordering details soon!

A quick update: The design layout has now been finalised, and I'll be putting up ordering links to the new ZRoadster.org Store soon.

Due to the complexity I won't be able to include forum names. I've tried about a dozen different ways of including them in a standard fashion, but will take too much time to do for each individual mug. Sorry I can't include everything

Prices are as follows:

Single mugs are £7.00 + P&P
His'n'hers mugs (2 identical mugs) £13.00 + P&P

Single Gloss Coasters (one image from mug) - £2.50 + P&P
His'n'hers Dual Gloss Coasters (both images from mug) - £4.00 + P&P

Mug Design - 2 pictures of your choice

Gloss Coaster Design - one picture from your mug, or can be created separately

Gary if people are supplying their own pictures then if they insert whatever text on the image they want before submitting then it saves you the hassle and everybody is happy or am I missing something. ?

It's possible to use either of the two frames to include text rather than an image if preferred. So you could have your car on one side; and then forum name and some car details on the other side.

Otherwise I would need to issue cropping guidelines and not everyone will have the ability to add text either. I would then have to test print each image to make sure the text comes out correctly, before sending off to production. Also the amount of area once printed on the mug is 6x9cms which is not a large area.

Hope that all makes sense.

Fair enough I understand how time consuming it can be, it was just a thought. ;)

I know, I wanted to do everything but ended up being a bit more realistic.

Interestingly the guy who makes them even suggested finding out if people are left or right handed. That way when they lift the cup they see their favourite picture first!
