Hello all Z people.
I have available Seat Lifters and Seatbelt guide fixers and center arm rests.. Please have a look in SOUTHERNBOY's stuff for sale in this forum. There are pics of the items.

I also have some Z3 to Z4 steering wheel fiting adapters. This allows the fitting of a smaller Z4 steering wheel onto a Z3. It can be reversed without any issues later if you choose to sell your car with the original Z3 wheel. No damage/ alterations to the Z3 is required.

Please PM me with any enquiries.

Many thanks.

Hi Southernboy, hope all is well. Glad to see you back on the forum. 30 Sept 2021 I sent you 158 Dollars for an armrest which was never received but tracked back to sender. I have no interest in the item now and have written off a refund but do you know what ever happened to it?

No idea... If I recall DHL were supposedly handling it ??
I never had any positive feedback from them. Only that they had sent it out for grlivery at the time, and that there was nobody to receive it.
I did query it with them here at the time, and that's the story they gave me. Also they said it was being returned to sender, but that was the last I heard after several follow ups with them here.

Wow that is some memory you have from a transaction over 2 years ago! In just 15 minutes!

It was a total PITA.. DHL were saying it had been shipped back to them, but they then did an about and said it was still en route, and then they just couldn't say where it was.. Only time I ever had anything go amiss.

Sadly I don't think so.... at least not until I find a seriously good CNC machinist who can do really good work.

Sorry but your response seems all about YOUR problems. @Kenhayes247 never received a penny in compensation for the parts he paid for from what I have gleaned.
His response was very polite about the $158 he wasted. I don't think mine would have been TBH.

Point made and taken Pond.
Not much I can say without indulging in a protracted discussion other than to provide you with a few details.
It takes aproximately 18 hours to put one armrest together... no charge for time can be included without incurring stupid cost numbers.
Around 40 kms of travel to effect the final product... again, it would be silly to levy a fuel and time cost in that regard.
From the above, you will see that ny primary motivation is not to make a living from the items I provide, but rather to provide an opportunity to like Z owners with good produts to enhance their cars.
As a member on the forum, I have always tried to be helpful in this and other ways such as passing on tips on various maintenance issues that will make those tasks easier. If you search the forum, as an example, you will find a post I made regarding drining and re-filling the gearbox oil in an easy and effective way which doesn't require trying to squeeze plastic bottles of gear oil in an uncomfortable and difficult way from under the car.
Lastly, I have probably posted hundreds of packages all over the world over the past 10 plus years, and this is the only instance where a package has gone astray. I have posted to odd countries such as Egypt, Thailand, and even remote towns in Australia. All with success. I have tried to provide the most secure delivery in every instance.
In this matter, I made at least 10 or more calls to DHL, sent any number of emails, argued and bullied them until they basically refused to deal with me.
I hope this will provide you with an idea of what is required in helping other forum members. If I realise any "profit" it would likely be around GBP 10 on an armrest.

This really is none of my business, so I will leave it there. Good luck!
