just seeing if anyone has tried this... was thinking of tinting the rear window but unsure as to how, was thinking either usual tint or spray, anyone have suggestions? cheers
I would imagine it would be exceptionally difficult to apply tint film to the inside with the screen in the car. It's difficult enough contorting yourself in to a shape where you can wipe the thing when it gets dirty. Not sure I would like to try spraying it in situ either, could get messy!
Does screen tint material stick to the outside ok?
I was thinking with screen out.... im not sure if the tint would actually stick, and what way it would act when folded for top down :-/ that's why I was thinking spray.... but again, not sure how that would act either, if it would crack when the roof went down.... we might have a go at some stage anyway Gar
Might be better to try to source a pre-tinted screen with the dye in the plastic itself. Alternatively, you can but a tinted wind deflector which will cut down on glare as well. I got a clear one for USD88.
