Tool Tart.

Cleared out the garage this weekend, and discovered just how many tools I have, and that they were everywhere!

Impulsiveness overruled (as usual ), so as a pat on the back to myself, and with an additional 15% off for Father's Day, 10 minutes later I was at Halfords collecting this beast:

That's the recycling bin to the left, just to get an idea of the size of it, and I'm still yet to put the 6-drawer top box on!

My justification for the expense: it's a lifetime investment!

Very nice. My brother has a few of these and they are great to find the right tool for the job without having to search for it.

Halfords get the tough time they deserve, but when it comes to some of their tool stuff they are incredibly good quality. If only they carried it through to their staff!

I've got to say, that's not the case with my local Halfords. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and the managers always pricematch some websites that they probably shouldn't, including eBay sometimes

Halfords mixed me some touch up paint, got home, the clowns hadn't put the lid on properly, luckily I'd placed it in my hat on the floor so my carpet was saved... Hat wasn't .....Also bought a bike from Halfords, they set it up and I rode it home.. Lovely. Got it out of the garage the next day and the wheel fell off as I picked it up... Very lucky escape!.... Agree on the quality of their tools, just be sure to check lids and wheels.

The paint silver paint I got was a closer match to my hat than the car....way off!
It wasn't aerosol though.
