The fuel cap on the Z3 was getting hard to undo and do up and I was going to buy a new one, so I tried this first.
1. Spray some white lithium grease into the spring appepture
2. Condition the rubber seal with Gummi Pflege
Now as good as new and goes on and off easily. If you have a similar issue give it a try, hope it works for you.
