It's not even a small, light van either. Don't think I would like to try it...

Being sad those vans are quite light 1350 kg max weight and z4 is 1395 so just legal.

That might give us some more ideas. I have seen some jag softops with vans on.

I take it that is the net weight Brian, I'm assuming a few suit cases, food and a couple of bikes would push it over?

They have bikes on there as well the nose weight would be a problem. Just wondering how many members tow a caravan or motor home ? I tow with my Santa fe & i Know of ther members who own vans, perhaps we could have a rally:)

Perhaps he left the little front guiding wheel stay on the road to take up the front weight. See, Simple's!!!!

Well it can't be done here thank goodness as there is no towbar made for the Z4 and not one listed in realOEM so must be in lefthand drive country.

I was right that towbar has to come from Germany and says in the blurb further down 'only suitable for left hand drive vehicles':)

Surely it has what takes to make a good Towcar:
Heavy
Powerful
RWD
Low centre of gravity
Average nose weight
Short overhangs

Perhaps just the tow bar placement is a bit low.

Beats driving a motorhome with a smart car hanging off the back!
