Hi all, Trinity now has a stable mate to run with this summer. It's a 98 Z3 and other than that I don't have a lot of details as awaiting the VIN so I can verify what she is on BMW site. Came about very quickly but was very cheap as chips as you'd say. Feel free to pick it apart and add any info you can supply. Presently at F5 detailing for a check up and decontamination with Sean.

Well done Jim, I'm so glad it worked out for you! Everyone can now know you didn't have time to go off topic all the time, too busy sorting Zeds out again :)

Looks a nice straight example

Thanks everyone! It needs a lot of TLC and will get a good look over this weekend by Sean. Not only does he do detailing but is a mechanical tech. The stitching around the back window is coming loose so may need a new hood but I'm looking for a cheap HT for it if anyone has one lying around with fittings. Needs some repairs to the bonnet as well. But has some ///M mirrors, etc. JIM

Its a looker, Jimmy. Hope you get it home to drive around this summer. Hey, if I retire soon enough and it gets to Halifax, maybe I can meet you there and we'll drive it back to your place together?
Sounds good to me Frankie but Mrs. Oldcarman will want to come along to visit our best friends in Dartmouth. Could put her on a plane for home. lol JIM

My last one was under £500 with fittings delivered so they are out there! Just need perseverance, determination and lucky timing.
