I have used Lano, consistently on most of my cars. It is a great rustproofer for the cars I have used on the beach. I have even drilled holes in sills and pillars then sprayed it into the cavity, and then grommet the holes..I have long been an advocate of Lano.. beaut job BTW..:thumbsup:

Does Lanoguard "kill" existing rust? Waxoyl does.
No, It,s merely a preventative. but has good wicking properties that stop rust from getting worse. I used to use just plain old soluble oil, but its not quite as good.

The last quote is correct. It does not "kill" or "convert" rust. It seals off, and with no moisture getting in, rust does not get any worse. All this is explained in detail on the Lanoguard web site and particularly on their lively Facebook page.
Yes, and the thing that I like about it the most as a stop gap or preventative, It does not encapsulate existing issues making them worse or hiding them, it is easily removed despite it's otherwise excellent adhesion, wicking and creep, should a more serious repair be required later..
