Vibrating mirror

Hi everyone,
I have a 2006 Z4.
I had a windshield replacement recently which required the removal of the rear view mirror. Since then the mirror has wobbled and vibrated. I returned to the shop and they told me it’s an interference fit and this was just normal. They jammed a piece of cardboard behind it - which helped, but it hasn’t fixed it.
They say there is no adjustment and nothing to tighten.
Does anyone have any good ideas or experiences with these mirrors?

Had this before on a prevviois car.

The mirror was not glued correctly. They had to remove it and re-glue the mirror. Solved the problem for me.

The mirror should not vibrate or wobble. If it does it means that it has not been attached to the windscreen correctly.

If it didn’t do it before then why should it do it now.

'Interference fit' =)) so basically the garage is saying that a safety device that ensures clear rear visibility is designed to vibrate and limit your rearward view :wideyed:

As @Jjim said.
