Warning Lights on BMW X3 3.0d ?? Help please

Hi

My Z3 is fine, but I have a problem with my wife's BMW x3 3.0d.

Today. the following lights came on :- ABS, Brakes, air bag and 4x4 lights all illuminated and bizarrely the cooling fan also comes on?

They reset if the ignition is turned off, but come back on after driving for a few minutes ...

Does anyone have any ideas as the car is not under warranty?

Could easily be a battery fault, low voltage.

Interesting article, but it doesn't say how to resolve it...

I have BMW rated tyres, so I dont' think that there is a problem with rolling circumference etc ...

Yeah, googled it and it appears on a number of forums as a highlighted issue. Sadly, loads of direct answers.
