Hi,
just recently bought a 98 Z3 1.9, discovered a fair amount of water in the boot after some typical Scottish summer weather, traced to aerial grommet, stop light seal, and a hole in the bottom corner of where the roof and rear window meet, all fixable, my inquiry is about an electronic control box sitting bellow the aerial, the cabling to it is corroded and disconnected, everything seems to work okay, i just don't know what it does, it has FAHRTRICHTUNG printed on it, which roughly translates as right drive, anyone know what this is?
