Water in driverside footwell

The carpet around the rubber heal matt on the carpet is soaking wet on right hand side of the zed. Currently I have the hardtop on.

I've seen on a z4 thread that drainage holes around the wipers get blocked. Would this be the same for z3?

There are several routes the water can come in, and I think it can get in through the scuttle area as well. I'd personally check that it's not coming in through either the A-pillar location, or through the bottom of the door car. I know you have the hard top on, but if the seal is not perfectly aligned on that you can still get water coming through.

Might be worth sitting in the car and getting someone to spray a hose at you while you look for drips.

It's not the hardtop sorted that out before Christmas and the side upright of the carpet is dry. Might be the scuttle as it's in the centre of the foot well, going to have further investigation on Monday.

Took the scuttle off and the centre drain points into the engine bay where blocked. Don't think this would cause it. Have a further investigation on Wednesday.
