Attached is a procedure guide I made when fixing the water leak issue. I was getting water coming in onto the carpet near the tunnel where the passenger feet are. It mainly happened when washing the car or when I was stationary.

It was actually caused by a break in the rubber seal between the windscreen and the plastic cover over the blower area! Most people have issues with the elephant trunk drains blocking up. Mine were perfectly clean.

Enjoy :)

Excellent write up for a common problem that can cause much misery (soggy yaw sensor)

This job is still on my list since I dried out my foot well and bought the expensive replacement sensor. Must get it sorted and buy a good wiper arm puller.. It was the absence of one that stopped me in my tracks when I attempted to check the drain hoses. This process is recommended leak or no leak as a precautionary measure.

Many thanks for the nudge and the nice write up.

Good write up

When I’m able to get the covers of my Zeds I’ll be doing this to ensure they are cleaned out.
