As i can't drive much at the moment decided to spend a few days polishing.
Brought a Da polisher a few weeks ago and after some advice from @Tracy Dee partner Cliff brought a few products and gave it a whirl.
Has taken a while but with one goodish hand its been a success.
Watched a few youtube videos as you do and started with VSS swirl and scratch remover this is good a one hit cut that breaks down and becomes a polish.
The finish was a real nice gloss and although i brought Prima Amigo polish it didn't after using it on the first few panels add anything to the finish the VSS had given me.
Finished and sealed it with Collinite 476s which as a wax is detergent resistant and says it will last upto a year.
The pictures say the rest a good shine on a dull day...

That's getting a nice deep shine to it. I've used Collinite 476s before to seal my wheels after a refurb as it's supposedly incredibly hard wearing.

Thanks Dave never had a car shine like it always shy'd away from a polisher through fear of damaging the paint but as its a da its very safe so worked out well.:)

Give it a go =)).
Kind words and thank you, the zeds ignited my petrol head passions. The wife thinks its just ocd =))
I like the idea of modding a car without ruining its heritage the zed has so many different things you can buy and add that enhance it
Steering wheel will arrive next i need some good sill covers for the insides of the doors as mine are not great but they will appear im sure.

Nice job.
Remember products such as Prima Amigo or PB Black hole are glazes and have fillers for light imperfections if you eradicated all the imperfections you won't see much change it can add some depth but as I explained it may not be necessary.
Don't forget to seal your wheels I find Finishkare high temp very good.
Happy to be of assistance.
Great job.
Cliff.

Thanks for the advise Cliff it still has the odd mark thats beyond removal but its made it glass flat and removed all swirling and removed 95% of suface scratches.
The VSS worked very very well tried it on a few different pads as they gave different results but with the right one was very quick.
Will look in to the wheel wax as they want proper protection as the brake dust gathers in the spoke corners.
Thanks again Ant......
