About ot undertake cleaning of the engine bay when I spotted this deteriorating rubber 'tube'?
I only had to touch it slightly for it to crumble and reveal the inside.
It doesn't look grubby inside, no liquid so I'm gassing just air?
Any help appreciated. If possible I'd like to get the part today to get it sorted. Haven't tried to fire her up as I'm not sure what the effect will be now that there's a hole in the tube...
It's an '02 1.9 8V if this helps any.
