Any idea how I can sort this problem by using a (cleaning?) product? I wouldn't dare to remove the washer bottle myself :(
Thanks!

Easy to remove the bottle, disconnect the pump connector and the 2 (if I remember rightly) 10mm bolts and it pulls out. Then get some Milton in there and leave it soaking for a while, empty, rinse and put it back in the car.

E85 removal is different .. but Milton fluid is a good shout.. give it a scrub with a brush if you can and remove the scummy fluid after .. refill

Put a garden hose into the bottle on a slow fill. Allow to over flow. You need to remove the pump because the filter WILL be clogged with the slimy crap in the bottom. To remove the pump simply lever it out of the bottle using a large screwdriver or similar. Reomove the seal/filter the same way. Wash or blow out the filter and replace. Replace the pump and add some of the Milton solution and operate the washers to flush the system (including headlight washers , if fitted). Pop the pump out again and drain the bottle, flush with hosepipe. Replace pump and refill.

Tony.
