I put castrol syntrax and castrol syntrans in mine Sean from opie oils.

Been advised from the guys on here the following mate;

Fuchs Titan Sintofluid. SAE 75W -80 gearbox and Castrol Syntax LSD 75W-140 for the Diff from

Thanks for the input guys but a while ago I read that BMW did an oil for life, this will obviously need a change but I'm sure that I also read that it will need different oil. Do I have an LSD

If you have a 2.8 you'll have a 25% lsd.

Sean's is a 2.0, I would go to a good retailer and buy the oil grades specified in you handbook mate. If you give them the reg. no. they will have the correct oils you need.

Looks like I don't have a slip diff as this is what I get under "Standard equipment"
