I've decided to move on up to a Z4
Which means my Z3 will have to go but is it worth selling ?
its a 97 1.9 with 85k on the clock and has some nice bits on it :
New wheels
Stainless exhaust
Angel ring headlights
40 mm drop all round
Late model aluminium dash
M mirrors ( not cheap )
But at some point it has been re spray it on the bonnet and over this winter it has bubbled badly and would need to be resprayed
What would it be worth in this condition the rest of the car is pretty good its taxed and got an MOT

About £2000 is the going rate at the moment. A bit less with the paint bubbling.

Unbelievable the prices in the UK............ :-o

I checked cars for sale over here. The cheapest was........

One total dog with wooden dash etc, knackered wheels and they had not even bothered to wash it before tacking photos.

April 1996 KM 117.802 Euro 3.450.

Next on the list after that one..........

A 'decent' (I would not buy it) car at.........

June 1999 KM 189.000 Euro 6.250.

I'd say Macca was pretty well spot on. You may make a bit more if you put the wheels back to standard and sell the bigguns seperately.

Prices are crap at the moment :((

To be honest i just want a more modern sports car! And if i could keep the Z3 i would ! Just not got the space
and as for ugly the face lift Z4 is a great looking car

And yes i know this is an AC-Schnitzer car

It's an odd thing, and I can say this as an owner of both... but the Z4 is just as beautiful as the Z3 - but in a different way! I've stood in front of both the Z3 and the Z4 for long periods of time, and it's hard for me to choose between the two on looks.

What sets the Z4 apart though are it's road manners. It drives like a modern 3 series and has stupid amounts of grip. It's a fantastic motorway cruiser and daily driver, but just doesn't seem to have the same warm fuzzy feeling as driving the Z3.

Both great cars, but for completely different reasons... :ymhug:

It's a personal choice,

The new z4 is lovely, but still feel the older shape doesn't stand out.

Everyone will have differing opinions however.

There is no right or wrong opinion.

The only thing i don't care for is the bonnet line on the Z4 the front grille should be part of the bonnet like most BMs
